I’ve been looking for a good day foundation for sometime now, and I think I’ve finally found her!
Tom Ford’s Traceless Perfecting Foundation SPF 15 is like a second skin but better. It has everything I was looking for in a day foundation. Firstly it applies beautifully to the skin with a gorgeous sheen. It has excellent skin-nourishing ingredients and is top-of-the-line quality. It’s very long lasting, even under the Saudi heat and lastly it photographs well.
Traceless Perfecting Foundation has a lot of elements that make it a good foundation. The longevity of the foundation is fabulous, I didn’t need any touch ups for my whole day (8 hours). It holds to the skin very well and you won’t even feel like you have anything on your skin. To keep the foundation looking natural, I set it on my oily areas with a mineralized powder (MAC) (Translucent powders will also work well). It’s a solid medium-coverage foundation, but if you want less, just use less and blend it out more.
Since the foundation has a luminous finish (which I LOVE), I’d say this foundation is good for normal, combination to dry skin. If you have oily skin, you should set it and touch up with a translucent powder to control shine.
Tom Ford being as luxurious as it is, you know the ingredients are going to be the best. If your going to wear something on your face everyday, don’t compromise! I love how its has skin-nourishing ingredients in the formula along with anti-oxidants to help diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I love using my fingers to apply the foundation and then blending it out with a beauty blender giving a good coverage that looks natural. I’m an NC25 from MAC and I have Bisque which matches well.

Tom Ford is a bit pricey, but for me if you are putting it on your face don’t compromise with quality.
My verdict : Money well spent!
