I love Max Factor’s new Whipped Cream Foundation. The first thing that got me was the name: Whipped Cream! I didn’t know what to expect when I tried it but by just looking at how smooth the foundation was in the pot made me want to try it even more. It immediately reminded me of many of the mousse foundation already on the market. I was never a fan of mousse foundations because they give a dry uneven finish to the skin and the formula is horrible. But Max Factor’s new Whipped Creme Foundation took all the points women were complaining about with the mousse foundation and made it better!
Firstly, it’s suitable for all skin types – normal, dry and even oily. How? Well it’s a demi-matte finish so it all depends on how you apply it. It’s not drying at all because it is hydrated with glycerin and water so it glides onto the skin but dries to a matte finish with radiance! It’s oil-free and doesn’t clog pores so it will suit oily skin as well and is even suitable for sensitive skin! It’s a foundation that needs very little effort and you can just apply it and your good to go!
The coverage is perfect – not cakey at all! It’s natural but still covers imperfections in the skin. It’s also long lasting, I wore it in the morning and it looked fresh on my dry skin the entire day. I would say tho if you are really oily then you can touch up with a blot powder if need be. I know many drug store foundations have the issue of not having enough color selection, but the Whipped Creme Foundation has lots of great shades ranging from Porcelain, Honey to Caramel which would suit a variety of skin tones. The texture is smooth and and a bit thick so at first when you apply it, it may seem like it’s too much but once you start blending it into the skin it melts in giving a beautiful finish. The coverage is great. I love it and I’ve been using it everyday since I got it!
How to Use for a Dewy Look
1. Take a small amount with a spatula and then apply with a damp sponge
2. Apply it in a dabbing motion to create a textured finish
3. Skip the powder and apply a highlighter or illuminzer on the high points of the face.
