Fast Track Makeup: Tips for a Quick Fix

Nowadays, you can never find the time for almost anything and to sacrifice a few extra moments doing touchups standing across the mirror to make your makeup look absolutely flawless is often not possible so I wanted to share a few tips that’ll take you through a super fast track, saving you a lot of time!

#1 DO THE EYES FIRST

When it comes to makeup, you don’t always need to start off from foundation – do your eye makeup first and save yourself the hassle of retouching your foundation when you make a mistake with mascara or sprinkle a little too much eyeshadow.

#2 DON’T REMOVE YOUR BLUNDERS, COVER THEM

Once your foundation is on and you feel like you can see a mistake of yours, simply take a dampened sponge and put some of the foundation you used on that. Rub it over your blunder to fix up that patch without removing your foundation again and again.

#3 DON’T WIPE OFF FAT EYE LINERS, CONCEAL THEM

If you realize that while applying eyeliner one, or both, of your eyes are too thick and you’re one more line away from looking like a panda, don’t worry because you can fix it without cleaning it all off and starting allllll over again. Just take a small eyeshadow blending brush, wet it and dip it in the eye shade you have on the rest of your eyes and cover it up. This will make it smoother, definitely defining your eye liner’s shape.

#4 LINE YOUR LIPSTICK WITHOUT THE LIPSTICK

If you feel like your lips aren’t lined properly and you’d like to flaunt that perfect lip shape, here’s what you do: after applying lip colour, take a small lip brush or applicator, dip it in foundation and run it around your lips. This will redefine your lip shape without redoing it, but make sure you repeat your powder over it the same way to seal on your lipstick to make it stay all day long!
