Eid is almost here ! Amidst the crazy schedules, trips to get your outfit sewn and between last minute hair and mani-pedi appointments, one can hardly keep track of the final look to don on D-day. Big hair is huge this season, as is statement bold makeup.

So I’m going to share with you guys what I do when I’m looking for makeup inspiration – flock to Instagram to my trusted beauty gurus’ tutorials. Believe me when I say I’m never left disappointed.

If you’re looking for … Intense, Dramatic Makeup

Nazan Asghar – This lady NEVER disappoints. Easily one of my favorite faces on instagram, her makeup looks are absolutely stunning. Try out her super intense Afghan makeup with edgy jewelry, blue eyes and soft nude lip tutorial this Eid to pass a statement and feel like an absolute diva! This look is definitely not for beginners as there’s quite some blending and expert application required, but if you’re in for it, hey who am I to halt you, go for it girl!

Jovita George – Cultures over the world have different ways of celebrating Eid; naturally, the makeup differs as well. In Kuwait, super-artistic eye makeup seals the deal and Jovita George slays with her expert indigo and white eye-makeup. Again, this look isn’t really for beginners (I mean, look at that wing) but do go ahead and experiment with the look to create your own. Tag her @mrjovitageorge if you recreate her look.

If you’re looking for … Understated, but Sensual

Kaushal M – Honestly, there’s no makeup inspo compilation without giving Kaushal an honorary mention. If you’re in the mood to drop the glow bomb on everyone this Eid and stun them with your brand of awesome, try out this super radiant look. Of course this looks better worn in the evening, you can replace bronzer with a soft champagne pink shade for the day though. Go stock up on highlighter now!

Arshia – Arshia shows us how to wear the classic winged liner and bold lips with a bit of a glitter twist. And honestly, a bit of glitter during the festive season is absolutely fine. Pair this with a classy desi outfit and your festive game is all set to light it up.
