Nargis Fakhri a Glamorous Spy

Nargis Fakhri has bagged a role in Paul Feig’s international film Spy.

Looks like post the success of and appreciation she received for Main Tera Hero, actress Nargis Fakhri has a lot to be excited about. The director of her international venture Spy – Paul Feig is over the moon about Nargis – his choice of actor from India for his film Spy. Paul Feig, director of Bridesmaids and The Heat. Feig has kick started his latest venture : the international spy comedy : Spy, where he has combined his love for the “spy” genre, comedy and international films to create what he hopes to be a big spy comedy that will work in the international film world. To that end, he cast Miranda Hart, Jude Law and Jason Statham from the UK, Rose Byrne from Australia, Melissa McCarthy from the US and then he handpicked some of his favorite actors from other countries and genres. And for a key role, he cast Bollywood actor Nargis Fakhri to represent India and Bollywood.

“There are so many actors worldwide that I’ve been looking forward to work with Nargis as she has always been on top of my list,” Feig said. “Nargis is cool, funny and drop-dead gorgeous, which ironically are three adjectives that have been used to describe me. So, I feel a special kinship with her.”

In addition to Nargis, other international actors handpicked by Paul include Rose Byrne from Australia, other actors from Sweden, Ukraine, Latin America and Asia like Carlos Ponce, Verja Serduchka and Will Yun Lee.

The film started production in Budapest on March 31 and Fox will release it Memorial Day 2015 internationally.
