Recipe : Healthy-ish Baked Samosas For Ramadan !

What You Need –

Chicken boneless (1/2 Kg)
3-4 cloves
Few green chillies (option)
Chili powder/Paprika powder
Curry powder
Turmeric Powder

Directions –

Combine chicken, salt and turmeric powder until done. Chop the chicken in to tiny pieces. Heat oil and stir fry the garlic first, and add the ginger paste, when it is a bit golden  in color add the onions ,salt. and curry leaves. Then add the chicken, chili powder, turmeric powder, curry powder one by one on low flame.  When it is fully cooked add half lime juice, stir, cover and let it simmer in low flame.

Once the filling is done, just let it cool for a bit. After that, wrap the filling in whatever puff pastry you normally use but instead of deep drying the samosas, heat up your over to 120 degrees and bake your samosas. Keep an eye, and remember to turn as soon as your see the top browning.

Remember to not take out the samosas to early, and keep on switching sides to let them cook thoroughly otherwise you will be left with ‘kacha’ tasting samosas from the outside.
