Tips To Get A Darker Henna Color That Stays Longer!

We’ve all heard the age old tale of how a darker henna color equate to your husband/saas/in-laws loving you more, and while this may or may not be true – we all want a dark henna color regardless. It looks prettier and when you have one shade function after another to attend, you want your henna to stay for as long as possible in it’s prime. Here are some tried and tested tips that will help!

Leave henna for a longer time:

Wash off the henna after 7-8 hours. If you can afford to keep it longer, leave it for about 12 hours.

Dab lemon sugar mixture couple of times:

Boil some sugar in water and allow it to cool. Add a few drops of lemon juice and apply the lemon sugar mixture a couple of times on the henna once it has dried.

Scrape it off:

Always remember to scrape off your henna instead of washing it once its dry!

Apply balms after scrapping the crust:

Apply any balm on henna after scrapping the crust off. It is said that these balms stimulate the colour development and penetration into the skin.
