Nani K Totkay: How To Heal Nose / Ear Piercings

Desi girls love piercings!  Piercings look great but do come with irritation and sometimes even infection.  Try this totka to help heal your infected nose/ear piercing using garlic!  Desi cooking is incomplete without garlic but did you know that this miracle herb has been used for centuries to prevent and treat many diseases and conditions?!

Head/Bulb of Garlic

Tea Tree Oil (if needed)

Take a head/bulb of garlic and remove the cloves.  In the center you would find the remainder of the stem.  Slice the stem to a size which you would be able to slide into your piercing and remain there comfortably.  If you have trouble getting it in, put a bit of tea tree oil (a natural and effective oil to heal infections) on it.  Move the stem back and forth a few times during the day to help the piercing heal. Change the stem to a fresh piece on the third day.  Use for ear or nose piercings.  Your infected piercing will heal within a week.
