This striking panorama, stretching from Panarea to Vulcano, is the perfect setting for vibrant Mediterranean summer nights, and the inspiration for two new limited edition scents from Dolce&Gabbana Light Blue: Escape to Panarea for women andDiscover Vulcano for men.

The scents depict a journey of two lovers, beginning in Panarea. Here, the Basiluzzo islet emerges from the deep blue sea. With its welcoming warm waters and streets brimming with life, this small port is a magic place for the free spirited. Our lovers bask in the island’s life, strolling barefoot from the sun soaked day through to the open air parties of the night.

The journey continues as they emerge from the crowds, taking sail to Vulcano in exploration of its long kept secrets of nature and mythology. They move from the slopes of Vulcano’s crater,to the black sands of its beach set, playing out their love affair against its distinctive rocky backdrop.

Escape to Panarea’s top notes reveal its sweet yet fresh soul, with scents from the woody-muskyolfactive family. The fragrance opens with a burst of CalabrianBergamot and Pear, a contrast that blooms alongside the nocturnal Jasmine and Orange blossoms that define the heart notes. Base notes root the fragrance withan accord of Ambergris,Patchouli, Tonka Beans, and Warm Musky accords.

Discover Vulcano

Mediterranean and masculine, DiscoverVulcanobelongs to the woody-chypreolfactivefamily. Intense top notes of Italian Lemon and Ginger are envelopedby the grassy softness of Cypress and Lavender at the heart. Base notes harmoniously blend Haitian Vetiver, Cedar Wood, and the musky-amber scent of Ambrox.

The packaging

Escape to Panarea’s tall, sleek flacon is an elegant harmony of neutral shades; with the delicate champagne colour of the fragranceperfectly complementing the flacon’s transparent glass with steel details. The packaging features a glimpse of the lovers’island, with a bird’s-eye view of its narrow streets and white houses adorned with flowers, against the perfect background of light blue sea.

The purity of Discover Vulcano is embodied by its finely crafted curved bottle, echoing the harmonious colours of its female fragrance counterpart, with its transparent glass, steel details and a white cap. Its outer packaging depicts Vulcano as though in a picture postcard, with the island seen from the sea against the rocky landscape – a rugged and unmistakably powerful backdrop.

In the light blue waters of Capri, the icon of the Mediterranean summer, the pair enact a love affair set to the classic love song Parlamid’amoreMariù.
